The Builder Account Manager oversees a large volume of residential construction jobs and is responsible for:
Responsibilities
- ✓ Monitoring builder portals for new jobs and purchase orders
- ✓ Creating jobs and uploading documents into our construction software
- ✓ Requesting utility locates
- ✓ Creating sales orders in QuickBooks
- ✓ Comparing builder purchase orders against approved estimates
- ✓ Resolving pricing and purchase order discrepancies
- ✓ Reviewing job documents for changes at each phase of construction
- ✓ Managing outstanding invoices and following up for payment
This is a construction administration and account management position—not a sales position.

Responsibilities
- ✓ Submit charges for additional field work
- ✓ Obtain purchase orders or payment authorization before work proceeds
- ✓ Track unpaid EPOs and backcharges
- ✓ Follow up with builders regarding outstanding charges
- ✓ Monitor builder portals for requested purchase orders
- ✓ Enter approved charges into Bolt and QuickBooks
- ✓ Keep supervisors updated regarding work authorization
Ideal Candidates Will Have
- ✓ Excellent attention to detail
- ✓ Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- ✓ Professional written and verbal communication
- ✓ Dependability and a willingness to take ownership of their work
- ✓ The ability to manage multiple priorities
- ✓ Comfort learning and working in different computer systems
Previous experience with construction administration, purchase orders, invoicing, accounts receivable or QuickBooks is preferred but not required for every position.
